Mark Zuckerberg has denied that his company’s apps target children in a landmark trial over social media addiction.
The Facebook founder took to the witness stand in California where the social media giant and its rivals are battling claims their products are responsible for a raft of mental health harms in young people.
Mr Zuckerberg told the jury in Los Angeles that Meta, which operates Facebook and Instagram, does not allow children under 13 on its platforms, despite being confronted with evidence suggesting they were a key demographic.
